The sea truffle, also called white walnut, is the most valuable and expensive mollusk.

It has a solid, rounded, with almost equal valves of very similar shape to that of the clam, but the external surface is not smooth, but composed of concentric grooves (growth lines) in relief in the form of a lamella that form nodes similar to warts.

The meat is white and firm, very tasty, which lends itself to the prevailing raw consumption.
